The new bike was sadly missed on the weeks long break to Antonne Et Trigonant (Dordogne) the old planet x doesn’t do it any longer the pro carbon (full carbon) just doesn’t feel like the R-041.
The Venge copy really does ride better and having suffered with a bad knee after the 1st 2 days 175 miles the holiday mileage came crashing down.
With the emergency ice pack safely at home, it was grin and bear it time and only 75 more miles just as the weather picked up.
so a 3 days break and quick 25 miles on the new bike knee felt better already, it just fits which is NICE 🙂
Next time the proper bike is going out even if its a 2 week wait to get it back, the hills around Perigueux and Brantome are just a killer and with a bike that doesn’t fit its just pain REAL PAIN
